» The standard OOC/IC rules apply and will be strictly enforced.
» You must update at least once every six weeks and show that you're participating through comments. One-liners, birthday posts, lyrics, or pictures cannot be used for an update.
» Activity is INCREDIBLY important. We do not require that everyone have an AIM name upon application, but we will be checking that you're at least active in comments. If we fail to see activity within the community or on AIM, your character will be removed.
» You must add the DISCLAIMER anywhere in your journal/profile and the mod journal as your website. Also, your UI should tell somewhere if you are AIM, thread, or both.
» A first post is not neccessary if you have an examples journal to offer. Your first update must come within the first two weeks, or you'll be removed.
» There is a hiatus request form for community members to get in touch with the mods . Filling out this form is a requirement if you would like a hiatus - if you PM the mod journal or make an OOC post, there's a good chance we won't consider you on hiatus and you will run risk of being removed. If you remain inactive longer than the time requested and don't get in touch with us to extend your hiatus, you will be removed. If you comment or make posts during your hiatus, we will consider hiatus to be over, period. If you need to ask for an update extension, do so there as well, but that is not a hiatus.
» Override/Inactivity rule: if you wish to play someone and have heard they aren't active, drop us a message. If the character has gone three weeks without activity, it will make a role available for override. If friend's lists have not been updated and we haven't seen any activity from a character, they may be removed without warning. We reserve the right to remove someone for inactivity without a PM or a hiatus request. Note that in order to override a role, you must provide a first entry and not an examples journal. No first entry provided, no override, it's that simple. We want to know that you know the character you're playing, and not just trying to override for other reasons.
» The OOC community (fuori) is only for communication between members in the community. AIM outages, hiatus announcements after the form has been filled out for the mods, and notes about short-term inactivity are its main purposes. It is NOT for "I'm leaving" announcements unless you're absolutely certain you're leaving and want to say good-bye to other members. Once you say that you're out, you're out. No deleting your post saying you were 'just kidding' or 'i changed my mind' You must reapply to the community at that point.
» If we receive complaints from other members about your behavior, you will receive one (1) warning about it. After that, you may be removed for the good of the community. We try to maintain a comfortable place for all of out members to play without harassment OOC or IC. Please be respectful of that.
» No celebrities under the age of 16. If we find out your celebrity is underage, they will be removed immediately. The only exception is if they will be turning 16 within the current year.
» Your character must have celebrity status to play in this community. No MySpace kids; no relatives of celebrities unless they're an actual celebrity themselves (aka we won't accept Jessica Simpson's mom, but Ashlee is acceptable). In order to help define what a "celebrity" is: If we can’t find them on Wikipedia or IMDB, your character might not be the best fit for this community.
» While complete realism is impossible, please try to be realistic. No impreg, no three week pregnancies - pregnancies must go full-term (9 months). If it defies the laws of physics or biology, don’t do it.
» Your UN must feature letters in your character's name, such as brsps or numbers if they're in place of a letter - such as br1tney. Please no UN’s like: ms_mama_brit; it will not be accepted.
» Please know that our mods are approachable. We're interested in the community as a whole and in keeping the community as pleasant as possible; we're doing our best to show that we're not nazi-mods. When you join the community there will be a post in this journal about how they can be approached - and once again, we are approachable.
